They make Diet Moxie? I’m not saying Moxie is bad, but it definitely tastes like what it is: an early attempt at making soda pop.

Indeed, I did a quick search for an item I never can find in the stores: small boxes of Jiffy brand brownie mix. You can find Jiffy corn muffin mix, blueberry muffin mix, etc., but never the brownie mix. Low and behold, they stock it.

NOTE: The appeal of the brownie mix is that it produces brownies which taste remarkably like what I ate as a kid. So it is a nostalgia sort of thing. Well, I kinda like the taste too. But don’t order some on my account: In the realm of brownie mixes, it would probably be a disappointment to you.

I also found this interesting: a list of items which the site has confirmed are no longer in production– so you don’t have to keep wasting your time looking for an item.

Here is, what think is a better site, if you’re looking for something sweet from your childhood. Found the Devil Dogs I’d been looking for! 😉

I guess it depends on where you live. I can get Devil Dogs in my grocery store.

I put in a request for Frosted Mini-Wheats in the original, large size. All the stores only carry the bite size ones now.
