Most of us aren’t greedy selfish bastards, and are willing to help anyone in distress… Think about it…

  2. meetsy says:

If you NOTICED that only women came to the rescue of the woman (except that train conductor guy at the very end) it makes you wonder….
Here was a woman in terror, in a bad situation, trying to save her BABY, and it was another woman who came to the rescue. Meanwhile, when the baby was flung aside…..it was an older woman who ran over to comfort it.
Where were the MEN in this rescue?
    Greedy selfish bastards!!!

Goodness that video is scary.. and brings back more than a few bad memories. I hauled my baby on mass transport through numerous countries. Getting on-and-off was almost alway a little scary. That video was exactly what I feared!

The “baby backpack” was the safest for hopping on and off but the kids outgrow it all too fast.

I always admire people who help in public like that other woman in the video. I tend to stand frozen in those situations and hate myself later for it.

  4. Miguel Lopes says:

Maybe not greedy selfish bastards… Maybe just numb… Maybe women realised more fully what the woman in danger was going through… I dunno, I’m optimistic about common folks… But you’re right, sometimes nobody cares or does anything…

I saw something similar on an escalator once. At the bottom, the stroller got stuck against the edge and the escalator is still rolling.
