I was shopping at my local package store and ran into this beer. Now this is what I call marketing!

  1. AJ EGGE says:

Good beer for an ale. Not free.

  2. CmdrTaco says:

Finally some truth in advertising. I always knew dark ale was a little odd.

  3. garym says:

Moose Drool is one of the best dark ales available here on the West Coast. We (friends and I, not all west coasters) drink it often, especially during ski season. Keeps the body feeling warm and invincible!

  4. JG says:

Oh jeez… this is a ringer for an old Firesign Theatre skit for “Bear Whiz Beer”:

See that bear, lapping up that mountain spring water?

Makes a big hairy guy like me want to wrap my lips around a tall, cool bottle of good old fashioned Beer Whiz Beer.

Like my Grandaddy used to say, “It’s in the water… that’s why it’s yellow.”

  5. RonD says:

Beware of the cheap knockoff import brand “Moose Stool Brown Ale” 🙂

  6. Matt says:

My dad actually has a shirt with their logo on it.

  7. Shane Ross says:

    I am from Missoula!

Not that that has anything to do with it. But they do have the Buck Snort Bar and Grill…

  8. J. Cordasco says:

I went cross country this summer and was introduced to this wonderful beer along the way. I was so disappointed to see that its pretty much unavailable east of Wisconsin. Shane, any suggestions for getting some out to NJ?

  9. American Soldier says:

Shocking that I would see my favorite beer here!

    I too am from Missoula!

  10. Steve Keller says:

Don’t forget Montana’s very own “Pig’s Ass Porter”, complete with dancing bare-bottomed pigs. With a name like “Pig’s Ass”, it’s got to be good…
