Bizarre News: Bizarre News Inventor Makes Diesel From Dead Cats — Finally!

A German inventor claims he’s found a way to make cheap diesel – out of dead cats.

Dr Christian Koch claims he can concoct economical diesel out of old tyres, weeds and animal cadavers. The mixture is heated up to 300 Celsius to filter out hydrocarbon, which is then turned into diesel by a catalytic converter. The 55-year-old says the body of a fully grown cat can produce 2.5 litres of fuel – so 20 dead felines are needed for a full tank.

I reckon you’d get about 20 miles out of a dead cat. 20 MPDC.

  1. Miguel Lopes says:

How much diesel can you get from a dead human?

  2. RonD says:

How many tyres (tires) are needed? I suspect the diesel is extracted from the rubber in the tires, and not from the cat cadavers.

  3. Dean says:

At the very least he isn’t using human remains.

Another use for cats besides Chinese Food.

  6. JD says:

And I quote ” At most the odd toad may have jumped in.”

  7. Konstantin says:

Well, this is complete nonsense. The yellow press was the only one who said this. The inventor did never experiment with dead cats or the like.

  8. Robert Nichols says:

“The mixture is heated up to 300 Celsius”

and how much energy does that take?
