Police Shoot Girl, 12, With Taser At School
CINCINNATI — A Cincinnati-area mother says her 12-year-old daughter was humiliated and eventually stunned with a taser gun by Cincinnati Police inside Burton Elementary School Wednesday.
Why wasn’t the girl’s Mom called in? I wonder if getting hit with a taser at 12 years old is very good for a growing brain?

hey look at it this way. shell probably think twice before giving the cops trouble again. and also…….she could have just had the snot beaten out of her. only the people ther know what happened but havinbg been tased myself for training purposes i can tell you that the alternatives when taking someone down are worse. and lets not for get that teens in this country are a lot bigger and stronger than they used to be. someone a while back said something about nets. how dumb are you anyway.
bottom line is…..most kids, when they see the cops, shutdown and start to cry. she decided to get her “chicken dance” on. even at 12. you can still dictate the outcome of some situations. remember. shes not dead.
It seems that there are primarly 2 sides to this arguement. There are the people that are saying “look at how this girl was acting, its discusting…blah blah blah” and the people that are saying “what would you have done in the situation. And then there are the people that are discusted with the way the situation was handled. I am on of THOSE people. Yes, it is obsurd that it took an hour and a half of talking and no one could calm her down. Seems like maybe she has a problem then doesn’t it? Maybe a problem that the “professionals” at the school should have maybe caught a hint of by then? I know that I wasn’t there or anything, but I can’t help but wonder if the words “what has you so upset, sweetie?” were even uttered. Maybe if they had been, she would have been forced to stop and think about what does have her so upset. Then again, maybe that only works in Utopia. The kids in ours schools today are so ignored that when something like this happens, all of a sudden they are a threat or risk to other students and teachers. Twelve years old is a very emotional time for girls. There hormones are crazy, and to go day to day like you don’t excist, or any other circumstance (which, I would like to point out, NO ONE KNOWS this girls circumstances. Including me) It gets to be too much.

I don’t think it is right for a 12 yr old girl to get shot with a stun gun just for arguing at school.
I’m 13 and I argue at school all the time and never in my life have hard lf a 12 yr old getting shot with a stun gun. I have hard of getting detention, NEVER shot by a stun gun.
I was wondering did the police get into any trouble at all.
