That is exactly 15 miles north (across the water) from my house. 🙂 great picture. It is my favorite city too. I actually just got married there about 2 months ago. Someday i’d like to have a condo over there. I dont get how that city can be so beautiful, but Port Angeles (where i live) is such a run down little town. Oh well.

I took a photo looking in another direction from a similar position.

There is a big difference between a Provincal Capitol city and a logging town. What surprises me more than anything is how few people in Port Angeles actually go to Victoria casually. It’s a nice change for anyone in that area. Of course when you come back you are grilled by the US Customs as to why you went there in the first place.

    Joe,
But, PA …er, Port Angeles, is a very nice town by dumpy standards!!! Even if Swain’s doesn’t have “everything” any more, and the airport took out all the charm when they removed the big model airplanes and added a suspended ceiling….(not to mention the goofy new access road and the acres of weeds, er, I mean, empty parking spaces….to get to it). Heck, it’s as close to perfect as I’ve found.

Wow! Very Interesting…I snapped several shots from the 7:30pm ferry (Victoria-Port Angeles) on Sunday. They are posted in my “Victoria Island Camping Trip” Flickr set:

Several cell phone videos from the week long trip were published during the ferry ride to my MSN Spaces Blog. BTW: Victoria Island is not Sprint PCS friendly. I found out that multimedia contact can not be uploaded while roaming.
