The City Review – Contents — If you’re a New Yorker or someone who loves the city and wants to get into the fine details of New York then this is the website for you. I’ll be adding it to my New York City Links page shortly.
Essentially this is a site of detailed essays concerning almost every deetail about New York you can imagine. It is, simply put, one of the greatest resouces of information about New York I have ever found.
Most of the essays are based on historic context and interlink to other related articles also posted on the site. Fining this site in the first place is difficult, but hopefully more people will now utilize its resources. It’s perfect for fanatics. Amazing depth.
That’s an an amazing site. Somebody (you know who you are) ought to put it all on a CD and give it to folks headed there, with their plane ticket or something. The same goes for other cities.
