Well this fails to mention anything about the reasons why the Iranians did what they felt was necessary to protect themselves.
It was finally when Shah Reza was overthrown the Iranians were angered with America’s agreement to allow Shah Reza refuge. They feared that he may come back later and be installed again as the ruler.
Why were they angry with Shah Reza? Well because he was a dictator for two decades who ruined the country and was installed by the CIA after the CIA and British overthrew the Democratically elected government of Mohammed Mossadegh.
Why did the CIA and the British covertly overthrow a democratically elected government? Quite simply, Oil. When Mossadegh came to power he nationalized the oil industry which in the past was held by the Anglo-Iranian oil company based in England (presently known as BP). Why did he nationalize the oil company? Because the oil belonged to the people of Iran and they had the right to profit from the sale; something Americans will never get because unless Americans have complete control over everything they will not bother to even understand the reasons for the stuff that happens in this world.
This is a starting place to begin to understand what really happened and why it did. People in this world are not evil without reason; and the reason the Iranians had was America’s
interference with it’s sovereignty which America destroyed by ousting a democratically elected leader.
