Plasticine recipe…
Microcrystalline Wax 4 lbs.
“Victory Brown” 160 degree F, M., P
Microcrystalline Wax 1 lb.
“Petrolite” (yellow) 190 degree F, M, P
Air floated clay 11.5 lbs.
Jordan, Bal, Sugar, Kaolin, Stoneware
Oil (30 weight N.D) 2.5 lbs.
Grease .5 lbs.
(call fire dept. and your insurance company,and ask them to stay by)
Then…
Melt Wax
Put oil and grease liquid waxes
Mix clay into oil/grease mixture
If mixture smokes turn off heat and run from room
Stir
Pour into your spouses best metal container that you never want to use again, to cool.
