Western Railway Museum Home Page — Another interesting California rail museum built in the middle of nowhere but housing some fascinating trolley cars in an incredible facility. There is some money behind this operation. They were running two of the circa 1910 streetcars including a perfectly restored car from the Peninsular RR that was astonishing. They have a slew of old Key System and other trains too. While they’ve collected some pullman and other more typical collectibles, it’s the trolley car selection that seems to be the speciality. Quite unique with fun to ride “exhibits.” Here are some pics of the cars.

John, you and the family should wander over to Durango, Colorado, some time — and ride the Silverton Railroad.
