“Great Stuff”? Have some taste. How would like it if people went around saying how amzing planes crashing into buildings look, straight after sept 11?
Anthony…
“great stuff” doesn’t mean …”great that it happened”…great means that it’s something caught on camera, because tsunami’s are rather rare, and few people actually see them. It’s no different than the tons and tons and tons of before/after earthquake photos that were EVERYWERE after the Loma Prieta quake, or the same for the Mt. St. Helen’s eruptions.
We’re a visual beast…and seeing the clips of the tsunami …both drove home all that I’ve ever learned in earth science classes, and was also another reminder of how fleeting life is.
“Great” doesn’t mean that it’s gleeful. It can also mean it’s sobering.
Anthony…..you need to throw out your “Politically Correct” handbook, it’s out of date.
ok..here goes…the tsunami incident had torn hundreds of thousands of peoples live’s apart…the survivors will face the trauma of losing their loved one’s right in front of their eyes for the rest of their lives…we, those who did not suffer from this nightmare should know that this is a sign from God that the world is about to End…only He can make THIS horrible tsunami happen, he is the Most Powerful … people beware.. much much more may happen…this is not a threat…just an opinion from a humble person …
“…we, those who did not suffer from this nightmare should know that this is a sign from God that the world is about to End…” -farhana
Or a sign from earth that there is no God. Arguing such things is like flipping pancakes.
