Terrorism experts protest Bush visit. Question: which girl is giving the universal code signal for oral sex?
IDFDave drove up to Canada and headed to Ottawa to check out the Bush protest. I want all of you to know that what you see here is not representative of Canadians, after all we have the same morons in America. Also alot of people French and Muslims had to be bussed in from Quebec. The crowd was mostly composed of left wing anarchists, communists, Islamists, and French. 30% of the crowd was kids who were barely in their teens and came out to join the excitement so they could tell their friends they stood up to cops.
Wow, that is just a rediculous source to link to. He’s a militant anti-Palistinian fellow with a hard-core adgenda. And as much as he’s making fun of Canadian protestors, someone could easily ridicule his site for the silliness therein.
Yes, certainly some protestors are idiots, much like some of every other group of people are idiots. But all the pictures he shows it pretty much par for the course when it comes to large protestors. Yup, people who like to stir up shit are going to go to protests. That’s just the way it is.
And while some people are making some very extreme statements about Bush (namely comparing him to Hitler) these comparrisons comes from a real place of fear and are not as far off from many Canadian’s (and many other’s) view of Bush’s foreign policy as some might think.
Would I personally show pictures and signs with Hitler-Bush references? No, that’s just silly. But protestors take their opinion to extremes to make a point. They always do.
And my point here is that many people do not want Bush in Canada because we do not want to support that man’s policies. Period.
(And by the way someone calling Bush evil I think is really appropriate seeing as he feels free to label absolutely anyone he wants as part of the “axis of evil” and if you’re not with us than you’re evil nonesense. In that case colour me evil. And I’ve never ordered the dropping of bombs that killed innocent children.)
But, for young people whose families have a history of mental illness, smoking pot can significantly increase their chances of developing psychiatric problems.
That’s the key quote right there. If your initial, in-born risk factors for schizophrenia are 0.05, then you now have a 0.1% chance of becoming schizophrenic. I seem to recall this ‘fact’ being brought up before.
NOTE: YOU HAVE TO BE AT RISK IN THE FIRST PLACE TO DOUBLE IT. IF YOU ARE ZERO RISK, YOU DOUBLE YOUR RISK TO ZERO.
> Question: which girl is giving the universal code signal for oral sex?
All of them? After all, they’re probably liberals!
Joe must have great sex with Right Wing chicks. Oh, that’s right. Sex is against the creed, too.
I rarely waste time with sites like these — though they seem to have learned how to twist Google’s tail as part of their Jugendrat training. One of their specialties is as old as the concept of agents provocateurs. That is, show up and pretend to be demonstrators with signs and slogans that deliberately go over the edge — and work at getting press coverage to characterize their slag as representative of the event.
As usual, the only place to see any real coverage of Bush’s visit and the demonstrations — both, in depth — was via News World International and the CBC. The demonstrators were pretty much the same sort of folks who show up for demos in my neck of the woods. Ranging from soccer moms to kids, businessmen to students, pretty much regular folks with regular jobs and families — often a bit more education than, say, the average fence-sitter. Certainly, a lot more knowledge of history and conscience than the dweebs who inhabit the proto-fascist bloggery.
First good chance to use “proto” in such a legitimate sense. Thanks, John.
I seem to recall a picture of you from a series of stills
introducing your “panel of pundits” Tech TV show
that resembled one of the girls in the picture.
Were YOU giving the “universal code signal
for oral sex”? If so, did you deliver any better than
you did on your talk show outing?
Just watch the Reuters raw footage of the protests and decide for yourself if it was serious – to me it looked serious. And this guy’s site is indeed ridiculous. He obsesses that everyone is a “teeny-bopper”, yet most people in his photos and the footage I’ve seen look like college students.
I was just a kid in the ’60s but, as I remember, MANY of the anti-war protestors were barely in their teens.
Most people I know who publically protest are a little naive — so this means youth and the slightly unhinged.
If I was 15, I think I’d go to protests for the cute girls!
I read comments on that link that said, “mostly composed of left wing anarchists, communists, Islamists, and French. 30% of the crowd was kids who were barely in their teens and came out to join the excitement so they could tell their friends they stood up to cops”. That was not what I noticed. I thought it was mostly retired people and university students, but hey, just because i was there doesn’t mean anything.
I was there in Ottawa to protest the Bush administration. I was there to protest against the aggressive US empire, and its reckless and unnecessary investment in the missle defense program.
And what is it with this guy FRENCH people? Does it make the protest any less meaningful if it were just French people? What an ignorant asshole.
