CPD: Commission on Presidential Debates
It’s the second Presidential debate that will be a town meeting where the audience gets to ask the questions. What do we have to do to get someone to ask Bush about creationism and talking in tongues? What if he actually started talking in tongues on TV?

On a related note, the world’s shortest blog, http://onesimplequestion.blogspot.com/, and supporters have put up $2126 (as of this writing) for someone to ask, “How many times have you been arrested, Mr. President?”
I saw somewhere something about Bush trying to get out of the 2nd debate because there was an issue of not trusting that the participants would truly be independents? The thinking was that too many liberals/democrats would sneak in theere after convincing the screeners that they were independents/undecided.
(I suppose that this could happen both ways? However, now that Bush is ahead, it makes sense for them to be more cautious than the Kerry campaign… they have more to lose.)
Personally, I can’t blame Bush’s campaign for being cautious and sceptical about this situation, given what we now know about CBS.
Maybe talking in tongues is the explanation for Dubya’s fractured syntax!
Actually, isn’t he trying to duck that second debate?
Talking in tongues would certainly explain his difficulty in articulating and enunciating the English language. ;->
Hell, I’d be happy to have someone ask him to pronounce “nuclear.”
“I can’t blame” — the world — “for being cautious and sceptical about this situation, given what we now know about” — George W. Bush.
Not to press a point, but why should Bush be afraid to answer ANY question thrown at him? Is he a man or a mouse?
Actually, it shouldn’t matter what he thinks about the matter: a man in his position should not be allowed to skirt accountability.
