Ruby red version of the camera with lens open.
Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 and X31: Digital Photography Review. Here’s a short review of this spectacular little camera. It’s stunning how fast it’s starts up. There are a few aspects I’d quibble with, but right now for around $500, this is the mini-camera to have. As usual you cannot expect to find the red version in the US market. And I’m guessing the pearl black version will be hard to find. We get silver whether we like it or not. All the Japanese companies are doing this to us. Typically everything sold there comes in silver, pearl black, ruby red, pearl blue, and gold. Once in a while they try even more colors! If you’re travelling to Europe or Asia you can get this red model over there. The detachable charger cord is all you’d have to change and it’s a standard two-prong power cord.
