Kentucky State Parks: Big Bone Lick State Park. And do not confuse it with the Big Bone Baptist Church nearby.

For this sort of odd information it’s always worth visiting the ePodunk site where they also have a collection of fascinating antique postcards. Big Bone Lick details are there. Apparently the Park was a natural salt lick that attracted large animals that then fell into a bog. Ah, Kentucky.
