Coolest thing I have seen in a long time…

  2. Johnny-Cakes says:

OMG that is so fake! You can even see the strings on it.

It was obviously made with Maya or 3DS Max. Come on, it’s so fake!

(hehe, sorry, just had to throw that in there…this is really cool and that guy has some pretty impressive flying skills)

  3. chewy says:

3D flying at it’s finest, fantastic.

  4. Pete says:

I love the way he got the plane to emulate the moves that Austin Powers makes in the movie when that tune’s being played – nice 🙂

  5. 2xbob says:

Sepectacular! I give it three thumbs up.

  6. Kentucky Jeepster says:

    Brilliant!

    Smashing!

    That guy’s a star!

  7. Mr. H. Fusion says:

    Amazing, just amazing !!!

  8. DavidtheDuke says:

Ah I see, the wings are asynchronous. Actually I know nothing about aerodynamics.

  9. Gary Marks says:

That is so over the top! That’s a video they’ll want to show at RC airplane stores for sure.

  10. Incredible indeed!

  11. Dale Huber says:

Lets give props’ to the camera operator, I’m surprised the plane was in frame the entire time.

  12. forrest says:

    Wow…that’s hot…

  13. James says:

Give the “props” to the pilot! 🙂

What kind of props is what I’m wondering???

How can a plane do that with out rotating on its axis?

Did he have dual opposing props to keep it floating like a helicopter like that???

  14. Frank Ch. Eigler says:

    > Did he have dual opposing props to keep it floating like a
    > helicopter like that???

Not needed – just some ailerons.

  15. Neal Saferstein says:

    Is this really real?

This is really cool. Just found an equally Amazing R/C Helicopter flying stunt.

Time to get a R/C plane.

  17. Ron Hill says:

    hehe….
Time to get a trainer first, my friend. That is hard-core 3D aerobatics. Get a GWS E-Starter first, learn how to control it, then enlist the help of an experienced flyer – I’m sure that there is an AMA club somewhere near you – and have a blast. Come on in, the air is fine !
