Excellent. Very funny too. Gotta love Nova Scotia. I’m partial to New Brunswick though since they were nice to my parents when their plane was downed there during the 9-11 attacks.

Shaver wouldn’t work but I bet it would happen before the coffee brewer even if more people would want the coffee.

    Thanks for the laugh Eideard

  2. brian t says:

Server is dead – “Service Not Available”. Oh well – there go your click-throughs.

  3. Thinker says:

Hah! Great for a chuckle. I loved it, especially the coffee maker.

    I can’t wait!

  4. Paddy-O says:

    http://www.pomegranatephone.com/

    Service Unavailable

    Looks good so far. LOL

  5. Sinn Fein says:

April Fool’s day comes 5 months early! 🙂 Nice selling job, folks. Detroit could desperately use these guys to sell their revamped vehicles.

  6. QB says:

I am concerned about shaving goop getting the coffee maker. When they get that sorted out then I’ll buy.

  7. floyd says:

I got to see most of the demo and then got “Service Unavailable.”

They either haven’t made a US version, or the server’s been Slashdotted.

The “coffee from your cellphone” idea sounds slick, but Murphy’s Law may apply.

  8. chuck says:

    It doesn’t make toast.
    And it can’t play Crysis.

  9. MikeN says:

Boring, it doesn’t let me put energy from the battery onto the electric grid.

  10. stopher says:

“Boring, it doesn’t let me put energy from the battery onto the electric grid.”
It will jumpstart a car though. Very handy.

  11. James Hill says:

I got the Service Not Available message, too. Clearly, this is the “it” thing for Christmas. If anyone wants one, just e-mail me your credit card information and I’ll get you one at cost.

  12. The Monster's Lawyer says:

I did business with this company before. I was contracted to write an ESP module that would read the user’s mind and make decisions based on the input.
I had written and delivered before they even asked for it but they told me that after using it one time that I had failed to meet the delivery schedule.
If anybody wants the code you can go to the website…uh, well if you wanted it you would all ready have gotten it and knew where it was.
    Never mind.

  13. Jim says:

I am waiting for the hummer model.

  14. hhopper says:

Very clever ad. I couldn’t wait for the end to see what was being advertised.

  15. FRAGaLOT says:

I was fooled till I saw the coffee maker. then it just got silly after that.

  16. Chris says:

Cool demo, but does it come in black?

  17. Nimby says:

Can’t wait to see the Bluetooth headset…

  18. dcphill says:

This is a little early for “April Fools”
    isn’t it.

  19. Mister Mustard says:

Cute. Now if they’d just come out with a model of the phone that could make and receive calls reliably, I’d buy one. The “release date” for that wouldn’t be a bunch of smashed pomegranates; it would be a steaming pile of dog doo. THAT’S and option that won’t be available for a long time.

  20. Miguel says:

    …Will it blend?

  21. gmknobl says:

Unfortunately, it only has AT&T as a carrier.

  22. sqlcursor says:

HA! The best is under the technology section. I love the line “Charges wirelessly….just put it near any running electronic device”…ahhhh good stuff. Thanks for the laughs!

  23. ratmantouille says:

    GO NS GO!!!
    Wish I could immigrate…
