Tom Brimmer’s Journal-temple expectations — Uh oh. None of this rhetoric can be good.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of change happening on the Temple Mount. The Moslem authority known as the WAKF is systematically changing the look and function of the area. They are conducting massive building projects. In fact, they claim the land is theirs and that nobody but a Moslem is allowed to pray or conduct any sort of religious activity on their land.

The contrast could not be clearer. Moses forbids them from being included in the congregation. Nehemiah clearly identified the Temple as the location of the congregation and threw the non-Jewish foreigners out of a position of honor in the Temple. Now the Jewish people are not allowed to have free access to the Temple Mount and are expressly forbidden to pray there.

I started looking into this after reading this website here.

It started out as just another “extremist right-wing fabrication”. A young (religious) student of archeology maintained that the Moslem Waqf was digging inside the Temple Mount, systematically destroying uncountable relics pertaining to the First Temple period.

The Israeli press scorned the issue. The Israeli Archeology Authority dismissed it.

Now, even the likes of Teddy Kolleck, A.B.Yehoshua and even S. Yizhar petitioned (then PM) Barak to stop the historic tragedy. The Arabs want to erase us – period.

Unfortunately, even our current Israeli government is blind and deaf to what is going on. We all must do what we can to let the world know that we will not give up the Heart of the Jewish People – our Temple Mount.

Expect all hell to break loose (again) in the region once this gets to the boiling point.
