Cash-strapped North Korea has demanded the United States pay almost $US65 trillion ($75 trillion) in compensation for six decades of hostility. The official North Korean news agency, KCNA, says the cost of the damage done by the US since the peninsula was divided in 1945 is estimated at $US64.96 trillion.
The compensation call comes on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the start of the 1950-1953 Korean War. KCNA said the figure includes $US26.1 trillion arising from US “atrocities” which left more than 5 million North Koreans dead, wounded, kidnapped or missing. The agency also claims 60 years of US sanctions have caused a loss of $US13.7 trillion by 2005, while property losses were estimated at $US16.7 trillion. The agency said North Koreans have “the justifiable right” to receive the compensation for their blood.
It said the committee’s calculation did not include the damage North Korea had suffered from sanctions after its first nuclear test in 2006.
Yeah… the check’s in the mail.
Kim’s merely anticipating the value of the dollar after Obama finishes printing.
That $65 trillion will actually be only enough to buy a cheeseburger and fries with today’s money.
Imagine Zimbabwe.
Solution seems simple. We print out a $65 trillion dollar bill, give it to him, and then let him spend the rest of his life trying to figure out how to break it into smaller bills.
I vote we print it with a picture of history’s greatest American, Chuck Barris.
Why don’t we show Kim a working nuclear weapon? Up close and personal.
#2 – Don’t you mean Chuck Norris?
#4. I was thinking Chucky Cheese.
#5, So we get from Korea to Atari. Nice. Nolan Bushnell must be proud.
Dad, the Americans have lots of money. Don’t take the first offer!
Kim Jong Il: Don’t worry. I got it covered.
Barack Obama: We’ll give you 65 billion.
Kim Jong Il: I won’t settle for anything less than 65 trillion dollars.
So that’s how much communism costs?
South Korea seems to be doing well without a moronic hereditary dictator. Maybe the North should give that a try.
That’s outrageous! I could see 58.47 trillion at the most, but not 64.96 trillion. After we consider the exchange rate of dollars converted into North Korean money, it comes out to a little under three dollars which we would pay but only after watching Kim Ding Dong sing Mr. Ronery live.
KJI, “Why am I surrounded by frick’n iriots!?”
Dear Mr. Kim, I am the prince of Nigeria. The US government has given me the money to pay you. I have your $75T ready in the bank, but I need to deposit $50,000,000 to the bank in order for the bank to release the money to me. If you let me borrow the $50M, I will be able to give you the money. I must receive your response soon or else the bank gets to keep the money. Please hurry.

Just as the US is not a democracy, neither is North Korea communist.
They should sue China instead, for shoddy ideologies.
