Now that’s what I call a good recruitment video. Gotta keep the folks back home thinking it’s fun. Gosh, I sure miss the Vietnam war. Back then reporters got to cover the war. I remember those photos in Life magazine, kids all shot up and mutilated in full color. How ’bout a front page photo of the victims of an IED, or friendly fire, or a little collateral damage. People need to be reminded of the price of paranoia.
Ever notice how teabaggers NEVER EVER suggest cutting the military when they whine and carp about deficits.
I think we could cut the military an easy 25% and remain just as safe. *
That amount of money would let us really help Americans with a bunch left over to pay down the debt.
*(… maybe safer! As they say, if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like nail. A smaller military might save us from foolish uses of it.)
